Surely a believer wouldn’t be involved in discord or contention or strife!  As many times as we see these words pop up in Proverbs, we understand the real possibility of just that.  There are five areas that can cause us to have discord.  Discord is even listed as one of six things that God hates in Proverbs 6:16-19, and it’s listed there with five other really bad things.  Pretty strong language to say God hates discord as much as He hates murder or any other of the sins listed there.  But there are four things that can help us to overcome discord that should encourage us.
